Here’s a shocker: Where I live, I don’t have a doorman.
Oof. My bad. I’ll be better. Let me start again:
I don’t have a doorperson.
But I promise that if I did, I would make sure to have something nice for them to commemorate The Second Day of Christmastide…
Also known as Boxing Day.
Traditionally, it’s a time for building residents and employers to give gifts, money, or specialty food items to their employees and assistants. In more recent years, it’s increasingly become an opportunity for family reunions, outdoor activities, and a focus on charity and volunteering. As you would imagine, cash tips are the most popular Boxing Day gift.
But what if there’s a music fan in your circle of valued service providers?
Want to step it up for your favorite head-bopping bartender, trash collector, dry cleaner, or dog walker?
Consider a Box Set.
Sorry to confuse. Just off the top of my head, and possibly maybe copied and CTRL-V-ed from Wikipedia:
A box set (or boxed set) is a set of items (for example, a compilation of books, musical recordings, films or television programs) traditionally packaged in a box, and offered for sale as a single unit.
Music box (or ‘boxed’) sets make excellent gifts. In addition to great songs and rare performances, there’s lots of interesting ancillary content. This deep-dive material is perfect for a deep-diving fan.
