Happy Pride Month- 2023!

I had thought about writing about the origins of Pride Month and then about some of the issues our community is facing today.

I might still do that down the line.

But today, I looked outside, and the yard was showing me a different way to celebrate Pride.

I decided not to fight Mother Nature.

Meantime, I hope you enjoy these pictures from our out and proud home.

I didn’t realize until editing the photos that might the gardener (my hubby) is in the background.

But that’s fitting, I guess, considering all the work he puts in on the yard.

Looks great Chuck. If only I had a greenfingered partner to make up for my own horticultural shortcomings – sorry Mrs J. Mowing the lawn and pulling out weeds is all I’m good for. My dad probably despairs given how impressive his garden always was.

The power of metaphor.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Absolutely gorgeous. As a gardener myself, I can appreciate the love and the hard work that went into this.

I’ve listened to Haley. Can’t find any news if she’s working on new material since her 2018 debut as you mentioned above. But I hope she is!

The older I get, the more I appreciate a flower garden. Your hubby has done excellent work!

Dude, I could literally smell the flowers as I was scrolling through the pictures, gorgeous! I do so admire those who have well tended yards and gardens. Our Tiger Lily’s are just starting to bloom around here…. except in my front yard, because the neighborhood deer treat lillies like their personal ice cream bar at Golden Corrall.
