I only got a few of them, and one of them only because Gary helped me out.

Speaking of guitar legends, can anyone guess who is playing on this early Bowie track?

Without knowing this song or the answer and without listening, I’m going to guess Jimmy Page. Seems like he was playing on a whole lot of material around that time.

I’m going Jeff Beck on this. The tone reminds me of his Yardbirds work. I like this and have never heard it or anything by Bowie, admittedly, before he renamed himself after a knife.

If you want some more early stuff, I’ve compiled whatever is available on Spotify on a playlist. They’re currently missing 12 or so songs, but still plenty there:

Quizzes are always fun and this was a good one. I got 5 of 8 and am disappointed in myself, but I will get gripey and say that one questions’ clue threw me off as it appeared to limit the timeline of an artists’ chart success to a time period that excluded 2 of their #1 songs.
More of these, please mt. I love it!

So…I did not fare as well as I would have hoped. I did get number 8 because of Tom’s recent write-up. I would not have known it otherwise.

I got 5 out of 8, really disappointed I missed Aretha. Proud that I missed ginger muppet Ed Sheeran.

I got 2 and 5 right. A very poor performance. I could make excuses but I’ve let myself, my family and my nation down.

I may never get over it.

What? It’s the weekend, well let’s get the party started and never speak of this again.

I stunk at this, got only 2 out of 8. Oh well, room for improvement, I guess.
